Community Guidelines

By accessing and using Flik and its associated services, you accept and agree to be bound by these community guidelines (the “Guidelines”):

 

  1. Flik users and the larger Flik community are connected by a mutual love of content – but we all have different tastes, backgrounds, preferences and life experiences.  Community members should always be courteous and respectful of others’ opinions and should not post unwelcome, aggressive, suggestive or otherwise inappropriate comments directed at another user.

 

  1. You agree not to use the Services for any malicious means, or to abuse, harass, threaten, intimidate or impersonate any other user. You must not request or attempt to solicit personal or identifying information from another user.

 

  1. You agree not to use the Service to promote, engage in or incite hate, violence, discrimination or intolerance, including based on race, age, gender, gender identity, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation or other protected attribute. We reserve the right to remove content that has the potential to harm values or communities we consider worthy of protection.

 

  1. You agree not to plagiarize anyone else’s work. Write your own opinions, don’t take someone else’s without providing the name and link (where available) of your sources.

 

  1. You agree not to misrepresent your identity, impersonate others, or take part in inauthentic behavior. Accounts created to deceive others are subject to removal.

 

  1. We reserve the right to remove any content that we consider to be offensive, objectionable, unlawful, explicit, graphic or otherwise in breach of our Terms or these Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to remove content that expressly (or implicitly, such as through coded language, symbols, keywords or tags) praises, supports, promotes or represents extreme ideologies. We reserve the right to remove any content that disseminates misinformation, disinformation or related manipulations, including viral sloganeering

 

  1. You may report any users who violate this Community Policy via the Help Center in the app, in each post’s popup menu, or by clicking on the “Report a Problem” button on the website. 

 

  1. You agree that If you do not abide by our Terms, we may take actions including but not limited to terminating or suspending your account.
